Audit & Attestation Services

In today’s complex business landscape, accurate financial reporting is crucial for stakeholders, investors, and regulatory compliance.
We offer a range of professional services to meet your business’s specific needs, including Audit, Review and compilation services.
Audit

Audit

An audit is the highest level of assurance that an accountant can give a set of financial statements. Some companies may be required to have their financial statements audited as stipulated by its by-laws, by regulatory bodies, or by financial institutions (a bank for the purpose of lending, or an insurance company extending a performance bond)

The objective of an audit of the financial statements by an independent auditor is the expression of an opinion on the fairness with which they present, in all material respects, the financial position, results of operations, and its cash flows in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles.

Review

Review

A review consists principally of inquiries of company personnel and analytical procedures applied to financial data. It is substantially less in scope than an audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the objective of which is the expression of an opinion regarding the financial statements taken as a whole. It may be required by the entity's by-laws, by regulatory bodies, or by financial institutions.

Complition

Compilation

Compiled financial statements are the most common form of presentation, as they can satisfy most day-to-day needs of business owners and their creditors.

A compilation is limited to presenting in the form of financial statements information that is the representation of management. While we may question certain items for clarification purposes, we would not audit or review the financial statements and, accordingly, would not express an opinion or any other form of assurance on them.

We provide a wide range of compliance services including, but not limited to, the following:
Payroll Compliance

Payroll Compliance

Any business, whether incorporated or a sole proprietor, that employs other people is required to withhold and remit all appropriate federal, state, and local taxes. Critical is the classification of service providers as independent contracts (not subject to withholding) as opposed to employees (subject to withholding), and of salaried employees (not subject to overtime pay) as opposed to hourly employees.

Our office can advise you on these and other employment issues, as well as providing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting services.

Sales / Use Tax Compliance

Sales / Use Tax Compliance

The number of items subject to sales tax collection and remittance keeps changing and differs from state to state. Even businesses whose activities do not require them to collect sales tax may be subject to use tax on some of their purchases. Non-profit organizations may be exempt from sales tax on some of their purchases but not others. Some Enterprises Zones have their own specific sales tax exemptions. We will also assist you in the reporting and remitting of sales and use tax, as necessary.
